About

Thank you for visiting. Here’s a little more about me:

Personal

A midwest guy; in location and friendliness, with a vested interest in helping develop leaders, better connecting people, and streamlining processes, without compromising purpose.

Kidding, this whole thing won’t be in 3rd person. In the most recent years, I have invested time getting a patent, working on side projects, and trying to contribute to society in various forms.

When I’m not self-promoting on my personal site, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, fishing, scuba diving, hunting, traveling, and more. A life goal of mine is following in the footsteps of my grandpa Charlie, a WWII Submarine Veteran who visited all 50 states; 16 more to go, (holler at me New Hampshireans if you need a housesitter).

Fan of taking my projects seriously, without taking life too seriously, keeping the bigger picture in mind at all times.

Professional

After the U of MN I began my career with an advertising agency working with Target & Supervalu. Eventually switched sides to do brand marketing for a $1B+ CPG brand in Minneapolis for the following 3+ years. During that time, I was able to help manage four professional sports partnerships, lead social accounts of 2MM+, and go through website transitions aplenty. After refining my digital, marketing, and analytical skills, I moved internally to an eCommerce national sales manager role helping more than double online YOY volume with Amazon, Jet.com, Groupon, and more during my year and a half.

Most Recently

Fast forward to early 2017, I was fortunate to be admitted into a part-time program by Seth Godin; the AltMBA, where I spent four weeks getting a better understanding of my skillset & vision. These classmates and coursework played a significant role in the biggest pivot of my career. I decided to go independent as an eCommerce, digital marketing, and web strategy consultant. Thus far, it’s

been incredible. The people I’ve met, the challenges I’ve encountered, and the increase in unknown has been unbelievably rewarding. Haven’t looked back.

With all the changes that went on during this ‘going independent’ transition, my schedule didn’t slow down a whole lot, however my flexibility was a little more under my control, which allowed me to prioritize helping lead a senior-high mission trip to Idaho in July with St. Patrick’s church, below.
